Breaking through

The sun is 92 million miles away from earth. And yet, somehow its rays are going to burn through the thick cold air and raise the temperature from -24 a few days ago to 40 today. Sometimes, I like to go out early just to see it in action: Feb. 2, 2019 sunrise.
