Gymnasts at sunset, Day 22

Saturday, April 4

Today’s activities included taking walks with Cooper, painting Alayna’s bedroom and getting caught up with friends on a long Zoom call.

At the end of the day, it looked like we would have a nice sunset. I asked the girls if they would be willing to head over to a big hill near our house and take some silhouette photos of them doing gymnastics. They said, “Yes!”

It was nice to get out of the house and do something creative! We have some funny memories of Cooper trying to pull Alayna down that big hill. It will be a relief when these girls get to go back to doing what they love. But in the meantime, I’m thankful for our time together.
