Math man

Meet Matthew.
Matthew loves math.
Matthew loves baseball.
Matthew loves math and baseball.
Every morning, I find Matthew studying the math of baseball. He can rattle off all sorts of information about the statistics of professional teams. He also studies the statistics of his baseball league.
Today I caught him sitting at the computer with a calculator analyzing scores. He explained that he was comparing the little league teams from last year to the teams from this year to determine if the National League or the American League won more games.
Not a bad way to start the morning.
