BWAHHH!
Today was our first day back at school after our two-week Christmas break. We were studying the moth caterpillar in our science book. Apparently, it makes a tasty treat for many predators.
To protect itself, it pulls its head in and inflates part of its body. The skin on this part has eye markings, which look huge and scary when the segments bulge.
This picture represents our impersonation of the moth caterpillar AND serves as an overall statement on how we felt about returning to school after the break!
