Talent show

 
For the last couple of weeks, our 9-year-old daughter has been working hard with a few of her friends practicing for the school talent show. Last night was the big night!
We had a great time watching all of the talents, ranging from recitations, to ballet, to singing, to performances on musical instruments. I’m not sure how it happened, but our daughter and her three friends ended up being the final act of the evening. They did a very upbeat song and dance routine to the Mandisa song, “Good Morning.”
An eighth grade girl and boy served as the MCs for the night. They did an awesome job and during Alayna’s song, the boy came out on stage and motioned for the audience to stand up. (You can see his shadow in the video.) By the end of the song, everyone was on their feet cheering and grooving along.
Getting ready for the talent show was a lot of hard work, but in the end, the girls had a blast. Have fun watching their talent:
