Fairy photo shoot

For the past few years, I’ve been working on growing my skills in photo editing. I’ve learned to retouch skin, create sky overlays and add bursts of sunlight. But lately, I’ve been wanting to stretch my editing skills in new ways.

A few weeks ago, I took some photos of my daughter and edited them to look like she was searching for fairies. A few friends saw them and told me how much their daughters would love to do something similar. So, I enlisted their help to create a little fairy story and practice my editing.

We had so much fun! I explained to the two older girls that they would have to pretend the younger sister had been captured and placed inside a jar. I loved the look on the little one’s face when she thought I was REALLY going to squeeze her into that jar!

Summer is an awesome time to take photos… whether you want traditional family photos, senior photos or something a little more magical.

If you are looking for a photographer, please check out my web site! I have summer dates available.

I’m working on a little behind the scenes post to show how these photos looked before I edited them!

Aren’t these three girls beautiful?

I love their friendship, and their sweet moms are raising them to be just as pretty on the inside.

Thanks again, girls!
